Charles MacLean MBE
Founding Director
One of the most widely published writers on Scotch whisky, with more than twenty books to his name. His occasional writing for MacLean & Bruce appears as MacLean’s Miscellanies.
Vikki Bruce
Founder & Managing Director
Worked in the whisky industry before founding the company, and is a Keeper of the Quaich. Runs the business day to day.
Jamie Burke
Commercial Director
Heads the whisky side of the business, from sourcing through to sale.
We would rather explain a cask properly and lose the sale than sell one to somebody who has not understood what they are buying. That means talking about duty, storage, regauging and bottling before talking about price.
We do not promise that a cask will rise in value, and we do not promise a buyer for it later. What we can do is tell you what you are looking at, what it will cost to keep, and what your options are when the time comes.
